Process Introduction and Core Features

Embossing/embossing technology is a post press processing technique that uses high-temperature and high-pressure molds to create a three-dimensional effect of concave and convex on the surface of printed materials. It can achieve relief touch and visual hierarchy without the need for ink, and is commonly used to enhance the artistic and brand recognition of packaging.

Environmental attributes: The entire production process is ink free, only molded through pressure, in line with the trend of green printing.

Stereoscopic effect: The depth of concavity and convexity can reach 0.3mm, with a delicate touch that visually enhances the focus of the brand logo or pattern.

Process compatibility: often combined with hot stamping, UV and other processes to create advanced effects such as "hot stamping convex" (completing hot stamping and embossing in one go, doubling efficiency).

Embossing/Stamping

Advantage

1. Texture upgrade: The 3D relief effect enhances the packaging grade, suitable for luxury goods and high-end gift boxes.

2. Strong durability: The concave convex texture is wear-resistant and scratch resistant, and is not easily deformed after long-term use.

3. Wide material adaptability: Paper (180g or above is the best), leather, and fabric can all be embossed, with copperplate paper and specialty paper having particularly good effects.

4. Anti counterfeiting function: Complex concave convex patterns are difficult to replicate and are commonly used for anti-counterfeiting labeling of high-end products.

Disadvantage

1. High cost: Template production costs are high (copper/brass templates have high precision but are expensive), and small-scale production is not cost-effective.

2. Paper limitations: Thin paper is prone to breakage, and recycled paper or paper with short fibers has poor performance.

Recommended applicable products

1. Luxury packaging: jewelry box, watch box (black gold color scheme+three-dimensional logo, classic luxury).

2. Festival gift box: Mid Autumn Festival mooncake box, New Year's gift box (with locally raised patterns to enhance the festive atmosphere).

3. Cultural and creative products: greeting cards, invitation letters, book covers (finely embossed to create a low-key and high-end feel).

4. Brand identity: Business card, LOGO label (minimalist lines+embossed design to enhance brand memory).

Design inspiration and matching formula

Process combination

Hot stamping convex: The brass template can be completed with hot stamping and embossing in one go, with a stunning combination of metallic luster and three-dimensional effect.

UV+embossing: Local UV light oil covers the embossed area, enhancing the contrast of gloss and visual impact.

Color scheme

Classic luxury: black background+silver white bump (refer to the packaging of high-end cosmetics).

Natural texture: Kraft paper+light embossed pattern (suitable for environmentally friendly brands, highlighting a sense of simplicity).

Modern minimalism: pure white base color+embossed lines (suitable for high-tech products).

Competitive advantage

Shelf competition: The concave convex reflective texture attracts visual attention, making the product display stand out.

User experience: Differentiated tactile sensation enhances the sense of unboxing ceremony and strengthens brand favorability.

Environmental concept: Ink free technology aligns with sustainable consumption trends and attracts environmentally conscious customers.
